Verify email in Grok Bot

Grok Bot is xAI's agent app: named Bots that work on a persistent cloud computer. It is a different app from Grok chat, and it adds MCP servers differently. You ask a Bot to add the Qualisend endpoint, sign in once, and the Bot can check addresses as part of its work. Using Grok chat at grok.com instead? Follow the Grok guide.

Ask your Bot to add this MCP server, then choose Connect

Available on
Desktop (macOS, Windows, Linux), iPhone and Android. On The X Subscription it comes with Premium, Super and Ultra, not Plus. On a legacy Cursor plan it comes with every paid individual plan and Cursor Teams. A linked SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy or X Premium+ subscription, or a self-serve Grok Business seat, also works.

Connect it to Grok Bot

You need a Qualisend account - the free plan includes 100 verification credits that never expire - and Grok Bot itself. Steps checked against xAI's documentation in October 2026.

  1. 1

    Launch Grok Bot

Use the desktop app or the iPhone or Android app, signed in with the account that has Grok Bot access.

  2. 2

Ask a Bot to add the server

In a chat, ask your Bot to add the MCP server at the address below. That is how xAI documents adding a server that is not in the Connect apps catalog.

    https://app.qualisend.com/api/mcp
  3. 3

    Choose Connect and sign in

The Bot shows a Connect card. Choose it and approve the Qualisend workspace in your browser within about 10 minutes. The page names Cursor or Grok Bot (via Cursor), with www.cursor.com: Grok Bot signs in through Cursor, so approve it. If the page closed, choose Reopen on the card. If sign-in failed, choose Retry.

  4. 4

    Hand it real work

The tools are ready from your next message. Type @ in a chat to attach Qualisend to a task.

One-click sign-in

Sign in from the Bot's Connect card. The token is held on Cursor's connector backend, so the Bot itself never sees it. xAI documents no way to set a fixed API key header for a remote server, so sign-in is the path.

Check that it worked

Ask "how many Qualisend credits do I have left?". A number back means you are connected - that tool is free, so it costs nothing to test.

Worth knowing

  • A connector added at grok.com/connectors belongs to Grok chat, a separate app. If you use both, add Qualisend in each.
  • If a Bot says the tools are missing, open Connect apps from the sidebar (on the phone: your avatar, top left). Needs auth or Disconnected means choose Authenticate, or Authorize on the phone.
  • On a Cursor team, Grok Bot follows the team's Cursor connector policy. Disabled by team admin means an admin has to allow the server on the dashboard's Plugins & MCPs page.
  • Enterprise teams that turn on Apply to MCP servers must also add app.qualisend.com to Allowed destinations. Otherwise the Bot's connection is refused.
  • Never paste a qs_live_ key into chat. Sign-in is the documented path. If a Bot ever asks for a key, enter it in the masked secure secret card and choose Save securely.

What to ask once it is connected

There are no commands to learn. Ask in your own words and Grok Bot picks the right tool - there are twelve, covering verification, sending-domain deliverability and blacklist checks.

“Before you draft outreach to this week's leads, verify every address and drop the undeliverable ones.”
“Verify the emails in leads.csv and save a cleaned copy next to it.”
“Every Monday, check the new sign-ups with Qualisend and flag anything risky.”
“How many Qualisend credits do I have left?”

What Grok Bot can reach

Only the verification tools, scoped to the single workspace you connect. It cannot reach another customer's data, your billing, or any admin function, and it never sees how a check is performed - just the verdict and the score. Authentication is an explicit token in a request header, never a cookie, so there is no session for a malicious page to borrow. Revoke it from Grok Bot or from your Qualisend dashboard at any time; sign-in access also expires on its own within an hour. Full detail is on the MCP documentation page.

Using something else?

It is the same endpoint everywhere. Pick your client:

Any other MCP-compatible client works too - Cline, JetBrains AI Assistant and the rest all take the same Streamable HTTP endpoint. The MCP documentation has the transport and authentication details.
